Imagine sitting in a massive blue temple, surrounded by people in prayer. It’s 20:45 and the soft sounds of chanting monks are in the background.
You’ve been sitting there for an hour, not phased by the amount of time because it’s been an hour of complete peace, but then your stomach starts to growl. You leave the temple and walk down the dimly lit street, immediately happening upon 50 or so people in an open space industrial container.
They are drinking, laughing, cooking over an open flame, and smiling. Thinking perhaps it’s a restaurant, you go inside and ask for food. They don’t speak much English, but enough to gesture that it’s a celebration of sorts and they want you to join. They hand you beer and a plate of bbq and make a spot for you at the table.

You cannot talk much, but you spend the rest of the evening enmeshed in this feeling of family from a random group of strangers you just met. It’s moments like these that make the world feel a little smaller every time I travel.
Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t
mind me asking what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it?
:P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but
the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for
“royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of
yourself during the coronavirus scare!
